Data Deletion Instructions
Follow these instructions to request deletion of your QuiltLab account and all associated personal data.
Request Data Deletion
- To request deletion of your QuiltLab account and all associated data, email support@quiltlab.co with the subject line 'Data Deletion Request'.
- Include the email address associated with your QuiltLab account in your request.
- We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation email once completed.
What Gets Deleted
- Your account profile, including name, email address, and authentication credentials.
- All quilt projects, blocks, swatches, and creative assets uploaded to your account.
- Usage analytics and activity logs associated with your account.
- Billing history and payment information (retained only as required by law).
Data Retention
- Most data is deleted immediately upon request approval.
- Some information may be retained for legal compliance, such as transaction records required for tax purposes.
- Anonymized usage statistics may be retained for product improvement but cannot be linked back to your identity.
Before You Delete
- Export any projects or data you wish to keep—deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Cancel any active subscriptions through your account settings or by contacting support.
- Shared projects may remain accessible to collaborators unless you remove them before deletion.
