Designed in collaboration with quilters from the ground up, the Quilters Select 45mm addresses specific pain points that general-purpose cutters overlook. The standout feature is the dual blade guard that locks from both sides — a thoughtful touch that prevents the accidental exposure that plagues some competing designs. The handle geometry was specifically engineered for the cutting motions quilters make most often: long ruler-guided strips and trimming blocks. It sits lower to the mat than typical cutters, which gives you better visibility of your cutting line. The trade-off is a proprietary blade system: Quilters Select blades are excellent but cost more than standard 45mm replacements and are not stocked everywhere.
