A traditional 3×3 checkerboard of 2″ squares.
Cut 5 squares of Fabric A and 4 squares of Fabric B. Sew into 3 rows of 3, alternating colors in a checkerboard pattern. Press seams toward the darker fabric in each row, alternating direction between rows for nesting seams. Join rows together.
