Log Cabin
Also known as: Log Cabin, Courthouse Steps Variation, Pineapple Variation
A centre square wrapped in five rounds of logs that spiral around it, one log per side in turn; the logs on two adjacent sides are light and the other two are dark, so the block divides into light and dark halves along a diagonal.

Construction Tips
Add each log to the side that already carries the previous log so the spiral turns the same way every round: two light logs, then two dark logs.
