Card Trick
Four fabrics form four square cards turned on point that overlap in a pinwheel around the centre, built from half-square-triangle corners, three-piece side units and a four-colour quarter-square-triangle centre.

Construction Tips
Each side unit joins a background and a card quarter triangle to a large triangle of the neighbouring card; lay out all nine units before sewing to keep the colours in order.
