Bold center diamond framed by contrasting corners.
Cut one center square and four corner triangles. The center square is cut at the finished size plus 7/8" for seam allowances. The corner triangles are cut from squares that are the finished size divided by 1.414, plus 1.25" for seam allowances, then cut diagonally. Sew opposite corner triangles first, press, then add the remaining two corners.
